Electricity Southland Limited is an electricity network asset company that was formed in March 1995 by Electricity Invercargill and The Power Company. It owns the embedded Lakeland's electricity network at Frankton in the Queenstown Lakes area. The company has in excess of 120 consumers and has contracted PowerNet to manage the assets on its behalf.
